BONNET VENT COVERS
It is a well known fact with these old Motorhomes and Campervans and more so the Talbot Express also the Citroen C25, MK1 Fiat Ducato and Peugeot J5 that when they have been stood for weeks, rain and even snow melt goes through the vents into the air intake box, it then empties through a hole into a drain pipe and in old design fashion it stop right over the top of the Talbot Express gearbox, there is a inspection cover on top of the gearbox and the gromit/seal over the years has either deteriorated or disapeared, water then gets into the gearbox and when stood the clutch sticks and you end up unable to select gears.
These magnetic covers for the vent on the Talbot Express cover the vent and stops ingress of rain water and snow melt, these are NOT for driving with these in place.
Then we have the Bonnet Scoop for The Talbot Express, these cover the vents but can be left in place as air can still get in through the vents.

~Single (1) White Bonet Talbot Express Vent Magnetic Covers 38cm X 14cmWhite Bonet Vent Magnetic Covers 38cm X 14cm As a cheaper alternative to the Bonnet Scoops i now have white magnetic covers, if you don't know the reason behind covering the vents then here is a small explanation. Well, it's a known fact that rain gets down into the vent box through the vent in the bonnet and then on occasions flows down a stupid aligned pipe right over the top of the gearbox. When it snows and the van is stood for long periods this melt can and does build up on the gearbox and can on occasions stop you getting gears after a period of not using the van. Well, it can be dramatically reduced with a " Bonnet Scoop " or just a magnetic cover. These magnetic covers are 38cm x 14cm which should give approx. 1cm overlap all round. Made from the highest-grade magnetic sign material used by 1000's of companies and 1000's of taxis and the magnetic strength is good at speeds, i am not saying drive with the vent covered but i do know of one member who does and puts the cab heat...
